About The Position

Learning Care Group is hiring a Lead Teacher at Tutor Time of Colleyville. The role involves creating interactive learning experiences, supporting children’s development, leading classroom management and curriculum implementation, and building relationships with families. The Lead Teacher also mentors fellow Teachers and ensures that classroom practices follow licensing guidelines and company standards.

The position is part of a childcare provider focused on early childhood education. The company’s programs serve children from 6 weeks to 12 years and use research-based curricula in safe, nurturing, and engaging environments to support children’s development and school readiness.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences and mentor fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in the classroom.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Know and follow applicable licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success.
