About The Position

The Lead Teacher creates fun, interactive learning experiences and mentors fellow teachers. The role supports the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children, leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, and ensures compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards. The Lead Teacher also builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support each child’s achievement and the center’s success. The work involves engaging with children indoors or outdoors and participating in physical activity with them.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Be able to meet state education requirements and childcare center requirements.
• Be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
