About The Position

This role is more than a daycare job: it is an opportunity to help children become lifelong learners while learning and growing as an educator. The Lead Teacher creates interactive learning experiences, supports preschool children’s development, leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, follows licensing guidelines and company standards, and builds relationships with families to support children’s progress and the center’s success.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences.
• Mentor fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in the class.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Follow applicable licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote children’s achievement and support the center’s success.
