About The Position

The Lead Teacher creates interactive learning experiences, mentors fellow teachers, and promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children. The role leads classroom management and curriculum implementation while ensuring compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards. The Lead Teacher also builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support each child’s achievement and the center’s success. The position involves engaging with children indoors and outdoors and participating in physical activity with them.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Be able to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
