About The Position

The Lead Teacher works with infant, toddler, preschool, and pre-K children to create a happy, fun, and engaging learning environment. The role leads the Jr. Preschool classroom, plans lessons and educational activities, builds supportive relationships with children, parents, and staff, and mentors assistant teachers. The Learning Grove Academy describes itself as a small business in Carmel, Indiana, focused on helping children and staff feel safe, nurtured, and excited to learn and grow. Compensation is $18–$19 per hour, based on experience and education. The schedule is Monday through Friday, either 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m. A CDA or higher is required.

Passion for early childhood education and a love of children.
Flexibility and ability to multitask.
