About The Position
Cornerstone Learning Center - East Memphis is a licensed childcare center seeking a Lead Teacher to support its Twos classroom. The role involves leading the classroom in line with the center’s philosophy and goals, supporting children’s development, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and building professional relationships with families. Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to pass all background checks.
- Physical ability to work around small children, including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.

- Previous childcare experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead all aspects of the classroom in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center.
- Implement activities that encourage each child’s emotional, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
- Take initiative, accept constructive criticism and feedback, and make improvements and changes as necessary to improve program quality.
- Create and maintain a clean and safe environment for all children.
- Establish a professional rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
