About The Position

This is a child care center teaching role focused on inspiring children to become lifelong learners. The Lead Teacher develops interactive learning experiences, mentors fellow Teachers, promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children, and leads classroom management and curriculum implementation. The role also requires knowledge of licensing guidelines and company standards, as well as building relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success. The position requires working indoors or outdoors and engaging in physical activity with children. The work week is Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Be able to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences.
• Mentor fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in the class.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Know and follow licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote children’s achievement and support the center’s success.
• Engage in physical activity with children indoors or outdoors.
