About The Position

As a Lead Teacher at a child care center, you will inspire children to become lifelong learners by creating interactive learning experiences and supporting their social, physical, and intellectual growth. You will lead classroom management and curriculum implementation, follow licensing guidelines and company standards, and build relationships with enrolled and prospective families. The role includes mentoring fellow Teachers and supporting the success of your center.

Requirements

• At least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences and mentor fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in your class.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Follow applicable licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote child achievement and support center success.
• Engage in physical activity with children indoors or outdoors.

• Hourly pay of $19.67–$20.44, based on position, education, and experience.
