About The Position

The Lead Teacher is responsible for overall classroom management and leading a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment for infants, toddlers, and preschool children. Teachers implement The Learning Experience’s proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® while adapting it to each child’s unique needs. Lead Teachers serve as role models and help develop young minds and inspire a love of learning. They also support the success of the center by partnering with staff and leadership to achieve enrollment and engagement goals.

Requirements

At least six months of professional teaching experience is required.
An associate degree or higher in early childhood education (ECE) or a related field, or a CDA, is required.
Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.

Nice To Haves

One year of professional teaching experience preferred.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and mentor less experienced teachers in the classroom by modeling behaviors and providing feedback.
Implement The Learning Experience’s proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum® in a way that meets each child’s unique needs.
Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
Communicate regularly with parents about children’s activities and achievements through mobile apps and personal discussions.
Partner with center staff and leadership to support goals around enrollment and engagement.
Ensure the safety and security of each child.
Manage the classroom overall.
