About The Position

As a Lead Teacher at a child care center, you will inspire children to become lifelong learners and support their growth through engaging learning experiences. You will mentor fellow Teachers, promote the social, physical, and intellectual development of preschool children, lead classroom management and curriculum implementation, and build relationships with enrolled and prospective families.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and the child care center’s requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences and mentor fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in the class.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Maintain expertise in licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote child achievement and support the center’s success.
