About The Position

This is more than just a daycare job. It’s a journey where teachers learn, grow, thrive, and play every day. The Lead Teacher inspires children to become lifelong learners by creating interactive learning experiences, supporting children’s development, leading classroom management and curriculum implementation, and building relationships with families. The role also includes mentoring fellow Teachers and ensuring compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic, dependable, and passionate.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences and mentor fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the preschool children in the class.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Know and follow licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote children’s achievement and support the center’s success.
