About The Position

The Lead Teacher inspires children to become lifelong learners by creating engaging learning experiences and supporting their development in a child care center. The role promotes preschool children's social, physical, and intellectual growth while leading classroom management and curriculum implementation. The Lead Teacher is expected to understand and follow licensing guidelines and company standards, mentor fellow Teachers, and build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children's achievement and the center's success. The position involves working indoors or outdoors and engaging in physical activity with children.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and the child care center's requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences and mentor fellow Teachers.
