About The Position

Beacon Hill Schools is seeking a passionate and experienced Lead Teacher to join its early childhood education team at its Athens, Watkinsville, and Bogart locations. The role supports preschool children’s growth in a safe, engaging, nurturing environment and helps foster a love of learning. The position pays $17.00–$21.00 per hour, based on education and experience, and follows a Monday–Friday schedule.

Requirements

Bachelor’s, Associate’s, TCD, TCC, or CDA in Early Childhood Education or Child Development.
Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience in a licensed childcare setting.
CPR/First Aid certified, or willingness to obtain certification.
Must meet all state licensing requirements, including background checks.
Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in early education.
Excellent communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and staff.
Ability to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and engage physically with children throughout the day.
