About The Position

The Lead Teacher develops interactive learning experiences, supports and mentors fellow Teachers, promotes the growth of preschool children, manages the classroom and implements the curriculum, follows licensing guidelines and company standards, and builds relationships with families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and the child care center’s requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Develop fun, interactive learning experiences.
• Mentor fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in the class.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Follow applicable licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote children’s achievement and support the center’s success.
