Lead Teacher
About The Position
The Lead Teacher creates and delivers fun, interactive learning experiences while mentoring fellow Teachers. The role promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children and leads classroom management and curriculum implementation. The Lead Teacher is expected to understand and follow licensing guidelines and company standards, and to build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support each child’s achievement and the center’s success. The position is with Learning Care Group, Inc., a childcare provider offering early education programs for children from 6 weeks to 12 years. The company describes its curriculum as comprehensive and research-based, with a focus on holistic child development in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.
Requirements
- At least 18 years of age.
- Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
- Ability to meet state education requirements and childcare center requirements.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
