About The Position

The Lead Teacher creates interactive learning experiences, supports and mentors fellow Teachers, and promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children. The role leads classroom management and curriculum implementation and ensures compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards. The Lead Teacher builds relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children's achievement and the center's success. The position involves engaging with children indoors and outdoors and participating in physical activity with them.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Be able to meet state education requirements and childcare center requirements.
• Be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Be energetic, dependable, and passionate.

Responsibilities

• Develop fun, interactive learning experiences.
• Mentor fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Maintain expertise in licensing guidelines and company standards.

• Hourly pay of $17.36–$18.03, based on position, education, and experience.
