About The Position

Childtime of Ballston Spa is hiring a Lead Teacher to inspire children to become lifelong learners. The role focuses on creating interactive learning experiences, supporting preschool children's development, leading classroom management and curriculum implementation, and building relationships with families. The Lead Teacher also mentors fellow Teachers and ensures compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards.

The position pays $18.52–$19.23 per hour, with pay based on position, education, and experience. Bi-weekly and Daily Pay options are available. Full-time employees receive immediate medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a 401(k) with company match. Limited medical coverage is offered to part-time workers. Education assistance, including tuition reimbursement and certification, is available to all employees. The work week is Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Be able to meet state education requirements and childcare center requirements.
• Be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Be energetic, dependable, and passionate.

Responsibilities

• Create fun, interactive learning experiences and mentor fellow Teachers.
• Promote the social, physical, and intellectual growth of the preschool children in the class.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation.
• Maintain expertise in and follow licensing guidelines and company standards.
• Build sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to promote children's achievement and support the center's success.
