About The Position

The Lead Teacher creates fun, interactive learning experiences and mentors fellow Teachers. The role promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children, leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, and ensures compliance with licensing guidelines and company standards. The Lead Teacher also builds sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success.

The position involves engaging with children indoors or outdoors and participating in physical activity with them. Learning Care Group describes its programs as research-based and designed to support holistic child development in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Have experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Be able to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
