About The Position

The Lead Teacher creates fun, interactive learning experiences and mentors fellow Teachers. The role promotes the social, physical, and intellectual growth of preschool children in the classroom, leads classroom management and curriculum implementation, and maintains expertise in applicable licensing guidelines and company standards. The Lead Teacher also builds sincere relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success. The role involves engaging with children indoors or outdoors and participating in physical activity with them.

Learning Care Group describes its early childhood programs as serving children from 6 weeks to 12 years through a family of brands, with research-based curricula intended to support holistic child development in a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and the childcare center’s requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
