About The Position

At Vector Security, we are looking for a Lead Systems Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for the servicing and/or installation of commercial integrated systems including Burglar and Fire Alarms, Access Control, and Video. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical aptitude and effective interpersonal skills. We offer great benefits, a competitive salary, and growth opportunities. Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2-years of fire detection and signaling systems experience (burglary, fire alarm, CCTV and access control).
• Must possess a Valid Driver’s License.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with various individuals in a professional manner in order to provide superior customer service.
• Understands software and programming for the primary manufacturers used by their home branch.
• Possesses the skill to decipher/design integrated systems in conjunction with local jurisdiction requirements.

Nice To Haves

• 5+ years industry experience.
• Fire Alarm License.
• ESA Certified Alarm Technician Level 2 or equivalent.
• NICET Fire or Video Level 2.

Responsibilities

• Completes system servicing and/or installations of various types of integrated systems.
• Completes servicing and/or installation of basic to advanced network devices.
• Completes programming and commissioning for security, fire, access control and video surveillance systems.
• Assists with new technician training.
