The Lead System Engineer will define designs and provide technical enablement for application components and subsystems. This role involves driving key design decisions for the development team, elaborating on designs and interfaces for specific components, and defining subsystems and their interfaces. The engineer will allocate responsibilities to subsystems, understand solution deployment, and communicate requirements for interactions with the solution context. This position requires aligning development teams to a shared technical direction, partnering with teams to elaborate the Solution and its interfaces, and validating technology assumptions while evaluating implementation alternatives. The Lead System Engineer will establish critical Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs) at the solution level and participate in defining others. Responsibilities include creating and enabling the Continuous Delivery Pipeline, participating in planning, definition, and high-level design of the system solution, and exploring alternatives. The role involves developing the Architectural Runway to support new business Features and Capabilities and working with portfolio stakeholders, Solution and Enterprise Architects to develop, analyze, split, and realize the implementation of enablers. The engineer will also participate in project planning, system and solution demos, and retrospective workshops, and understand the technical characteristics of and assist with architectural integration of external components, systems, and platforms.
