The Lead Surveillance Officer is responsible for creating work schedules, delegating assignments, and operating surveillance equipment. This role involves monitoring all departments to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, policies, and procedures. The Lead Surveillance Officer also works with department managers and state regulators on confidential matters, interviews, trains, and selects employees, conducts performance reviews, and makes recommendations for wage increases and promotions. Additionally, this position ensures the safety and security of the casino and property, handles employee complaints, recommends disciplinary actions, supervises work, and monitors legal compliance with federal, state, and gaming laws. Team members are expected to adhere to the Everyone Greets Everyone (EGE) policy, participate in mandatory meetings and pre-shift BUZZ sessions, and maintain a professional appearance. The role requires the ability to get along with co-workers, work as a team, and understand and respond to English cues.
