Target Global Supply Chain and Logistics is evolving at an incredible pace. We are constantly reimagining how we get the right product to the right guest even better, faster and more cost effectively than before. We are becoming more intelligent, automated and algorithmic in our decision-making, so that no matter how guests shop—in stores or on Target.com—we deliver the convenience and immediate gratification they demand and deserve. We are on a mission to win decisively over any competitor, with a seamless and superior guest service experience unlike any they can offer. Our teams work with the agility our mission requires, and we constantly come together to implement new processes in record time. So we’re looking for exceptional people who are proactive, creative, independent, innovative, risk-savvy and comfortable working in varying degrees of ambiguity. Are you a critical thinker who seeks the root cause and can analyze both qualitatively and quantitatively? Are you a creative problem-solver who simplifies problems, quickly identifies solutions, commits to a plan and then positively influences others to execute it? If so, you will have success on one of our dynamic teams. A role within the GSCL Workforce Management Team means putting the team member experience at the center of what we do across the network, inclusive of all node types. This team will work toward deploying an agile hourly workforce across previously existing boundaries to improve the guest experience, provide team members greater flexibility in how, when, and where they work, and increase efficiency while reducing risk and expense through workforce management solutions. The team also drives and governs major cross-functional, multi-year outcomes that support Target’s broader enterprise workforce and supply chain strategies. Within this team, this role will lead the development and execution of the GSCL field operating model strategy. You will help define how the field organization should be structured, supported, and enabled to deliver Target’s long-term supply chain priorities. This includes assessing the current operating model, identifying opportunities to improve roles, capabilities, decision-making, and ways of working, and translating long-term strategy into practical and scalable future-state recommendations. You will work closely with field leaders, headquarters partners, Human Resources, Finance, functional experts, and transformation teams to develop the strategy, build alignment, and move recommendations from concept through implementation. You will lead change management and engagement efforts to help leaders and team members understand what is changing, why it is changing, and how new ways of working will be adopted and sustained. Through strong partnership, governance, field feedback, and performance insights, you will help ensure the GSCL operating model continues to evolve in support of Target’s long-term supply chain strategy and the needs of the field.
