About The Position

C2 Technology Group, a Crete United Company, is hiring a Lead Structured Cabling Technician to install and test cabling infrastructure and lead a field crew. The role includes site surveys, task planning, coordination with project managers and engineers, and completion of installation documentation and quality assurance reports. Pay is $20–$28 per hour, depending on knowledge, experience, and ability. A company vehicle may be provided depending on role level. Requirements

At least 3 years of verifiable experience in low-voltage or telecommunications work.
Experience with LAN, inter-building backbone, security, and audio/video cabling.
Proficiency with industry-recognized certification tools, test equipment, and processes.
Basic computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; perform basic math; and distinguish industry color codes.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs, work in confined spaces and at heights, and work in varying temperatures.
Verifiable experience and character references are required.
Must complete pre-hire drug screening, background checks, and DMV checks.

Responsibilities

Install UTP, fiber optic, and multi-conductor copper cabling infrastructure.
Test and certify permanent links using industry-standard equipment.
Complete installation documentation and quality assurance reports.
Conduct site surveys, plan tasks, and coordinate with project managers and engineers.
Lead and manage a crew of installers in the field.
