About The Position

The Business Wireline Pricing organization is looking for a Lead Strategic Pricing to make pricing strategy recommendations and analyze their financial impact to the business. The ideal candidate would have a strong proficiency in Excel, be able to pull their own data using SQL from Snowflake, and have strong financial acumen of concepts like EBIT, IRR, Payback Period, and Lifetime Value.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience
  • Very strong excel modelling skills (Goal Seek, complex formulas, etc)
  • SQL/Snowflake/PowerBI/Tableau data skills a plus
  • Strong Financial acumen

Nice To Haves

  • MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and Implement Pricing Strategies: Formulate and execute data-driven pricing strategies and policies to optimize profitability, ensuring compliance with strategic, financial, and administrative guidelines.
  • Market and Competitive Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market and competitive analyses to inform pricing decisions, providing strategic insights and advising on final pricing contracts.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Clearly communicate the implications of proposed or implemented pricing policies to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Performance Evaluation and Financial Analysis: Utilize complex data modeling and financial analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of pricing strategies, making necessary adjustments to maximize impact.
  • Other Duties as Assigned: Perform additional responsibilities as needed, including cross-functional collaboration, customer insights integration, and utilization of pricing tools to enhance decision-making processes, ensuring all activities align with overall business objectives.
