About The Position

The Business Wireline Pricing organization is looking for a Lead Strategic Pricing to make pricing strategy recommendations and analyze their financial impact to the business. The ideal candidate would have a strong proficiency in Excel, be able to pull their own data using SQL from Snowflake, and have strong financial acumen of concepts like EBIT, IRR, Payback Period, and Lifetime Value. The candidate Develop and implement data-driven pricing strategies and policies that maximize profitability and market share, while ensuring competitive positioning and effectively communicating them to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience
  • Very strong excel modelling skills (Goal Seek, complex formulas, etc)
  • SQL/Snowflake/PowerBI/Tableau data skills a plus
  • Strong Financial acumen

Nice To Haves

  • MBA preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Formulate and execute data-driven pricing strategies and policies to optimize profitability, ensuring compliance with strategic, financial, and administrative guidelines.
  • Conduct comprehensive market and competitive analyses to inform pricing decisions, providing strategic insights and advising on final pricing contracts.
  • Clearly communicate the implications of proposed or implemented pricing policies to internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Utilize complex data modeling and financial analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of pricing strategies, making necessary adjustments to maximize impact.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as needed, including cross-functional collaboration, customer insights integration, and utilization of pricing tools to enhance decision-making processes, ensuring all activities align with overall business objectives.
