About The Position

Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Lead Stock Clerk for our Materials Department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Lead Stock Clerk, you will ensure that all standards and logistics of the department that impact the workflow process are met. You will also ensure patient charges are entered accurately and timely, and that there is effective operation between the point of use (POU) and the main inventory system, including the physical maintenance of items as it corresponds to the process data. You will regularly attend and participate in Product Review Committee meetings and assist the Materials Manager in the maintenance of the shift schedule. Your responsibilities will include identifying, picking, and distributing inventoried stock items to maintain par levels for assigned departments, and fulfilling Inventory Stock Requests submitted through MMIS. You will need to know where all items are kept in the Storeroom and ensure supplies are delivered in a timely and accurate manner. You will interact with external and internal customers for supply needs, communicate issues with the Materials Manager and customers, and report receipt discrepancies to purchasing, vendors, and supervisors. You will also contact vendors for delivery verification, assume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacements, and ensure the receiving dock is well maintained, clean, and free of clutter. Additionally, you will manage equipment by submitting work orders and communicating equipment replacement needs, oversee the oxygen tank inventory, distribution, and oxygen tank rooms throughout the facility, and perform duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 2+ years healthcare experience

Responsibilities
