About The Position

Shady Grove Medical Center seeks to hire an experienced Lead Stock Clerk for our Materials Department who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental, and spiritual healing. As a Lead Stock Clerk, you will: • Ensure that all standards and logistics of the department that impact the workflow process are met. • Ensure Patient Charges are entered in accurately and timely • Ensure effective operation between point of use (POU) and main inventory system and the physical maintenance of items as is corresponds to the process data. • Regularly attend and participate in Product Review Committee meetings • Assist Materials Manager in maintenance of shift schedule. • Identify, pick, and distribute inventoried stock items to maintain par levels for assigned departments. • Fulfill Inventory Stock Requests submitted through MMIS • Know where all items are kept in the Storeroom. • Ensure supplies delivered in timely and accurate manner. • Assist Materials Manager in maintenance of shift schedule. • Interact with external and internal customers for supply needs. • Communicate issues with Materials Manager and customers. • Report receipt discrepancies to purchasing, vendor, and supervisor. • Contact vendors for delivery verification. • Assume responsibility for returning unsatisfactory shipments or receiving replacements. • Ensure the receiving dock is well maintained, clean, and free of clutter. • Manage the equipment by submitting workorders and communicating equipment replacement needs. • Oversee the oxygen tank inventory, distribution, and oxygen tank rooms throughout facility. • Perform duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • 2+ years healthcare experience
