The Lead Steward is responsible for overseeing the proper operation of all equipment and the correct use of cleaning chemicals for utensils, kitchen floors, and other areas. This role ensures that stewards have the necessary equipment and knowledge to perform their daily tasks effectively. The Lead Steward is accountable for all food and beverage outlets, including Infinity, The Den/blu, Agua, and The Cove. This position also involves reporting hazards, ensuring stewards work in designated areas, assigning break schedules, and maintaining cleanliness and safety across all work areas. Additional tasks may be assigned by management.
