About The Position

The Lead Steward is responsible for overseeing the proper operation of all equipment and the correct use of cleaning chemicals for utensils, kitchen floors, and other areas. This role ensures that stewards have the necessary equipment and knowledge to perform their daily tasks effectively. The Lead Steward is accountable for all food and beverage outlets, including Infinity, The Den/blu, Agua, and The Cove. This position also involves reporting hazards, ensuring stewards work in designated areas, assigning break schedules, and maintaining cleanliness and safety across all work areas. Additional tasks may be assigned by management.

Requirements

• Willingness to work with a team for the success of your team and Treasure Bay.
• Ability to distinguish the difference between patterns of dishes and glassware.

Responsibilities

• Ensure awareness of proper operation of all equipment and correct use of cleaning chemicals for utensils, kitchen floors, and other areas.
• Ensure stewards have the proper equipment and knowledge to complete their daily tasks.
• Oversee all food and beverage outlets: Infinity, The Den/blu, Agua, The Cove.
• Report all hazards to the Steward Manager and Security.
• Ensure stewards are working in their proper work areas.
• Assign break schedules for stewards.
• Ensure all outlets, including the dock area, are cleaned properly.
• Ensure safety in all work areas.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by Steward Manager, Sous Chef, Executive Chef, or Director of Food and Beverage.
