Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and five (5) years of relevant experience. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
  • Must possess knowledge of manufacturing processes and production environments.
  • Must have knowledge of adult learning theories, competency-based training processes and select parts of GMP/Compliance regulations as it relates to training requirements.
  • Must possess leadership, interpersonal, problem solving, creative thinking, communication, writing, time management, organizational and analytical processing skills.
  • Must possess strong computer skills including all Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).

Nice To Haves

  • Training Certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of MyUniversity, Percipio, WorkDay and Documentum preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) of the Manufacturing/Packaging training process at the site.
  • Lead all Operational training initiatives at the site.
  • Support all lean initiatives at the site as it relates to Manufacturing/Packaging training.
  • Audit training documentation to ensure compliance with job performance vs. qualifications.
  • Monitor on-the-job training efforts to ensure that they are being conducted in alignment with training plans.
  • Support frontline supervision in the development, coordination, execution and follow-through of new employee training.
  • Assess training needs throughout Manufacturing/Packaging and address any gaps that are identified.
  • Maintain an Operator Capability Matrix for all Manufacturing/Packaging employees.
  • Author and deliver technical training.
  • Assist in the development of training modules associated with current and new processes/equipment.
  • Represent the Manufacturing/Packaging training team during regulatory body inspections.
