About The Position
This position will be responsible for providing project leadership and oversight for vendor payment operations. Act as a liaison between Accounts Payable and other departments to ensure alignment and accuracy in financial transactions. This role will sit onsite at our Appleton, WI location 4 days/week with 1 remote day.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or finance
- Demonstrated leadership in managing payment operations
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with process documentation and training
Responsibilities
- Provide indirect leadership to Accounts Payable team pertaining to day-to-day operations
- Lead vendor negotiations and strategic resolution of payment issues
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives to improve payment accuracy and efficiency
- Develop and maintain documentation for payment processes and training
- Support audit and compliance activities related to accounts payable
- Represent the team in leadership meetings and strategic planning
- Demonstrate sound judgment and make timely, independent decisions with minimal oversight, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and operational priorities
