This is a full-time Lead Sonographer position in the Ultrasound Department, responsible for providing day-to-day work direction, training, and performance feedback to employees and students. The role involves assisting with human resource responsibilities, identifying performance improvement opportunities, managing department resources, and serving as a technical resource and preceptor. The Lead Sonographer will also perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation, and oversee equipment maintenance and quality assurance. A key aspect of the role is demonstrating knowledge and skills for age-appropriate patient care, understanding growth and development principles across the lifespan.
