About The Position

Toyota Financial Services is seeking a hands-on technical lead to design, build, and support a secure, scalable, reusable enterprise scheduler platform on AWS MWAA, modernizing legacy AutoSys workloads for use by multiple internal teams. The role includes defining the target multi-account, multi-tenant architecture, migration and onboarding models, governance controls, operating procedures, and platform capabilities that make scheduler adoption efficient and compliant. The engineer will develop Python and FastAPI backend services and REST APIs, deploy containerized applications on ECS Fargate or EKS, and integrate scheduler services with platform components and enterprise applications. The role also uses AWS services and Infrastructure as Code to implement platform resources, alongside CI/CD automation, testing, observability, incident response, and security controls. As technical lead, this person will set technical direction, lead design reviews, establish engineering standards, manage delivery milestones and risks, make critical architectural decisions, and mentor engineers. They will collaborate with architects, platform engineers, business stakeholders, governance teams, and platform consumers in a hybrid environment. Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without Toyota immigration support or sponsorship now or in the future. Toyota notes that benefit details and applicability can be discussed during the interview process.
