Lead Software Engineer
About The Position
The client is seeking a senior full-stack Java engineer/technical lead for a cloud migration project, with mandatory hands-on experience in AWS, EKS, Kubernetes (Istio and Helm Charts), OAuth, and JWT within Agile development from Healthcare Claims Industry. This role requires leading software engineering teams, mentoring junior developers, and acting as a subject matter expert while designing, coding, reviewing, testing, and documenting complex applications. The client needs someone who can translate stakeholder and product owner needs into technical requirements, define system scope, identify gaps and risks, and drive architecture and transformation initiatives. Strong expertise is expected in CI/CD, DevSecOps, TDD/BDD, automated testing, deployment standards, configuration management, and global application deployment. Overall, they want a hands-on technical leader who can deliver large-scale, high-availability systems, integrate complex systems, evaluate emerging technologies, and communicate effectively across all levels.
