LEAD SOCIAL WORKER
About The Position
The Social Services Lead position reports to the Director of Clinical Services, and will assist with the following responsibilities: Assists with maintaining the daily Assessments Audit, including monitoring the addition of new patients, ensuring timeliness of the Psychosocial Assessment & the Master Treatment Plan, and ensuring timeliness and completion of collateral contacts As needed, the Lead will assist with scheduling treatment teams for each unit, and ensuring the audit is updated to reflect master and updated treatment teams were held for respective patients. Assists with ensuring a timely and effective workflow with discharges, discharge planning, and pre-admits. Will back up the Director of Clinical services in their absence, ensuring assignments, groups, and discharges are completed as needed. Will assist in completing New Hire Orientation for new staff in the event the DSC is not able to. Assists with ensuring all utilization management request are completed in the chart in a timely manner. These duties will fluctuate as needed, and additional responsibilities may be added as appropriate, based on the needs of the hospital, individual units, and staff.
Requirements
- MSW required
- LLMSW or LMSW
- previous behavioral health experience required
