About The Position
Under the direction of the Housing Services Program Operations Manager, this role trains new Shelter Workers on day-to-day responsibilities during their shift. The Lead Shelter Worker identifies and provides social services to homeless individuals at the M Street Shelter and Safe Parking/Encampment. This position works collaboratively with operations staff, providers, and volunteers, and identifies training needs when necessary.
Requirements
- Experience as a Shelter Worker.
- Ability to train new staff.
- Knowledge of social services for homeless individuals.
- Collaboration skills with staff, providers, and volunteers.
