The Lead Shelter Coordinator is responsible for leading the team by example, maintaining positive working relationships, and ensuring the smooth operation of the shelter. This role involves crisis intervention, documentation, team management, and communication with various stakeholders including staff, clients, community partners, donors, and volunteers. The coordinator must maintain a high level of professionalism, ensure confidentiality, monitor sanitary conditions, and be proficient with the HMIS system. They are also responsible for reviewing and maintaining accurate documentation, and performing other duties as assigned to align with program goals. Availability on weekends is required.
