About The Position

The Lead Setup Tech – Perimeter Solutions leads and assists a field crew responsible for fencing delivery and installation. The role ensures projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company quality standards. Responsibilities include coaching team members, coordinating materials and equipment, troubleshooting job-site issues, and maintaining a productive and professional work environment. Work must meet manufacturer specifications, WillScot standards, customer requirements, and applicable safety procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience installing and dismantling temporary fencing.
• Prior experience leading, mentoring, and coordinating a field crew.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Previous experience driving a truck and trailer.
• Previous experience driving a forklift or telehandlers.
• Proficient carpentry skills and experience using hand and power tools.
• Familiarity with construction trades.
• Ability to lead and direct others.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Ability to maintain professional customer interactions.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and job-site equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience installing fencing or similar products.

Responsibilities

• Lead the safe and efficient delivery, installation, and removal of temporary fencing and related equipment according to project specifications.
• Assign daily tasks and provide hands-on guidance to team members.
• Ensure team members follow proper procedures, safety policies, PPE use, and site-specific customer or regulatory requirements.
• Review site conditions and coordinate materials and equipment.
• Communicate with customers to support successful and safe project completion.
• Complete daily paperwork, including FLHAs, forklift and truck inspections, work order management, and other required reporting.
• Maintain tools and equipment and keep materials and tools organized in the yard and on the truck and trailer.
• Monitor material quantities and report required materials to management.
• Troubleshoot job-site issues and maintain a productive and professional work environment.
