About The Position

As a Lead Service Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the day-to-day operations, overseeing on-site service technicians, groundskeepers, and maintenance level employees. Requirements

  • HVAC or EPA certification required.
  • Minimum 2 years of related work experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of electrical and mechanical aspects of appliance repair, HVAC troubleshooting and repairs, basic understanding and competency in electricity, refrigeration, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, and irrigation systems.
  • Availability to work in an on-call capacity related to our 24-hour routine maintenance guarantee.

Nice To Haves

  • Pool operation and maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Regular attendance to work and maintaining a professional and courteous manner with all residents, vendors, contractors, and fellow employees.
  • Performing all maintenance and repair work for apartments, supportive buildings, common areas, breezeways, irrigation systems, and grounds.
  • Conducting maintenance, repair, and operational tasks on swimming pool equipment.
  • Ensuring work is conducted using sound safety practices and notifying the Community Director of any unsafe conditions.
  • Completing all service requests promptly and interacting with residents to ensure satisfaction.
  • Completing turnkey work in vacant apartments, including debris removal, repairs, replacement, paint, lock & key rotation, and inspection.
  • Assisting in the scheduling process of vendors and contractors as directed by the Community Director.
  • Adhering to the maintenance portion of the Operating Budget and securing best pricing for parts and labor.
  • Maintaining inventory controls for cost-effective operations.
  • Keeping the maintenance shop organized, inventoried, and adequately stocked in compliance with OSHA guidelines.
  • Being on call for 24-hour emergency maintenance service while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
