About The Position

QSL Management is seeking a Lead Server for Washington Commons by Barclay House. The role supports a resort-style senior living community and focuses on providing residents and guests with gracious hospitality and a pleasant dining experience. The Lead Server may also assist in the bar, coffee shop, meal preparation, inventory, and special events as needed.

Requirements

Caring heart and willingness to serve others.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Food server or hospitality experience required.
Willingness to work with older adults in a senior living environment and prepare food that meets or exceeds hospitality and service standards.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with staff and residents.
Willingness to work a variety of shifts, including holidays, weekends, and pre-planned special events.

Nice To Haves

ServSafe certification if applicable by state requirements.
Bar Card if preferred or applicable by state requirements.
Knowledge of a POS system.

Responsibilities

Ensure residents and guests receive gracious hospitality and have a pleasant dining experience.
Assist in the bar and coffee shop as scheduled.
Guide guests through menus and demonstrate knowledge of food and beverages.
Maintain or exceed appearance, cleanliness, hygiene, and health standards in all dining areas.
Take accurate orders and coordinate with team members to provide prompt, organized service.
Set and reset tables according to company standards.
Assist with meal preparation when requested.
Help maintain stock levels for the bar, coffee shop, and front of house.
Assist with special events and activities as requested.
