Lead Server, Kalaloch Lodge
About The Position
Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a full-time or part-time Lead Server to join our team at Kalaloch Lodge in Forks, Washington. This role requires excellent time management and guest service skills, as well as the ability to effectively oversee the seamless operation of all front-of-house tasks. Kalaloch Lodge is located in Olympic National Park, steps from coast with nearby natural attractions including The Hoh Rainforest and Sol Duc Hot Springs. We offer our associates team members a free shift meal plus a free bus pass or a commute bonus for journeys over 30 miles one way.
Requirements
- Must have previous experience leading a team.
- Experienced working front of house in a restaurant.
- Able to successfully manage priorities, time, and team members.
- Ability to work days, nights, and weekends as needed.
Responsibilities
- Trains and helps supervise servers, bartenders, hosts, and food runners, and documents job performance.
- Ensures the restaurant is set up promptly and appropriately stocked for the day's operations.
- Assists with the close-down of the restaurant, ensuring that all locations are cleaned and team members follow closeout duties.
- Supervise and conduct pre-shift meetings with servers, bartenders, hosts, and food runners as needed.
- Ensure standards of sanitation and cleanliness are maintained throughout the bar, swing suites, and restaurant.
- Ensure inventory is accurately completed on time.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
