About The Position

Little Stepping Stones is a licensed childcare center seeking a Lead Teacher to support the School Age group. The position requires applicants to be at least 23 years of age and possess a valid driver's license, as driving is an essential function of the role. Requirements

High school diploma
Ability to pass all background checks
Associate or a bachelor's degree
At least 23 years of age
Possess a valid driver's license

Responsibilities

Prepare lesson plans that are developmentally appropriate one week in advance using current curriculum guides.
Implement lesson plans/curriculum on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development and carry out lesson plans according to classroom schedule/daily routine; Use our parent communication app efficiently.
Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
Responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs; and maintaining an organized, clean, safe, and appropriately decorated classroom.
Maintain a child assessment and portfolio for each child, as well as conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences during the month of November and May.
Carry out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children.
