About The Position

We are seeking a Lead SAP Warranty Claim Management Consultant to support an SAP S/4 Service implementation for a heavy machine / automotive client. This role involves configuring and supporting Warranty Claim Management in SAP, working with business users to gather and analyze requirements, and designing and implementing various aspects of the warranty process. The consultant will also integrate warranty claims with other SAP modules and configure pricing, output determination, and action profiles. The position is an initial 12-month contract requiring 25-35% travel to the Midwest, primarily the Chicago and/or Milwaukee area.

Requirements

  • 4+ full life cycle Warranty Mgt. projects
  • 15+ years of Sap CS and PM experience

Responsibilities

  • Configure and support Warranty Claim Management in SAP
  • Work with business users to gather and analyze requirements for warranty processes
  • Design and implement claim types (customer / vendor / internal)
  • Design and implement claim processing workflows
  • Design and implement status profiles and action controls
  • Integrate warranty claims with Service Orders (S/4 Service)
  • Integrate warranty claims with SD (Sales & Distribution)
  • Integrate warranty claims with MM (Materials Management)
  • Integrate warranty claims with FI/CO (Finance & Controlling)
  • Configure pricing procedures for reimbursements
  • Configure output determination
  • Configure action profiles and follow-up actions
  • Handle claim settlement & reimbursement processing
