About The Position

UKG is seeking a Lead Salesforce Developer to join the Go-to-Market (GTM) Salesforce Engineering team. This role is crucial for driving complex development initiatives across Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Revenue Cloud. The Lead Salesforce Developer will be responsible for building modern Lightning Web Components (LWC), mentoring team members, and ensuring the quality and scalability of Salesforce solutions that power UKG’s go-to-market operations. This is a collaborative, fast-moving environment where technology meets strategy, and innovation directly impacts business performance.

Requirements

  • Hands-on 6+ years of experience developing in Salesforce Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flow.
  • Demonstrated expertise configuring and customizing Salesforce CPQ and/or Revenue Cloud.
  • Practical experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using Informatica.
  • Understanding of Salesforce data model, security framework, and performance best practices.
  • Proficiency in Gearset for CI/CD automation and release management.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer II certification required.

Nice To Haves

  • Salesforce CPQ Specialist or Revenue Cloud Consultant certification(s).
  • Advanced experience designing scalable, reusable LWC components.
  • Background working in agile environments with strong collaboration and delivery focus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and experience leading peer reviews or mentoring other developers.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end development of Salesforce features and enhancements using Apex, LWC, and Flow.
  • Build sophisticated Lightning Web Components (LWC) to deliver intuitive, high-performance user experiences.
  • Configure and customize Salesforce CPQ and Revenue Cloud to support quote-to-cash and revenue processes.
  • Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, and QA to deliver high-quality, user-focused solutions.
  • Integrate Salesforce with other enterprise systems using Informatica for ETL and data synchronization.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Gearset for version control, deployments, and release management.
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce standards, and mentor junior developers to elevate team capabilities.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize applications for speed, scalability, and stability.
  • Stay up to date with Salesforce releases and emerging best practices and identify opportunities for platform enhancement.
