About The Position

ICF seeks an experienced Salesforce Developer to support the phased implementation of an enterprise grants management platform built on Salesforce Agentforce Public Sector. The Developer will design, configure, develop, integrate, test, deploy, and support secure, scalable capabilities across the grants lifecycle. Using a configuration-first approach, the Developer will build Salesforce Flows, OmniStudio components, Apex, Lightning Web Components, and platform integrations while supporting data migration, automated testing, CI/CD, defect resolution, and production releases. This role works across business analysts, product owners, architects, testers, security specialists, data teams, and government stakeholders to translate requirements into accessible, maintainable solutions that meet federal security, privacy, data-quality, and operational-readiness standards. This role is contingent upon a contract award and is not an immediate opening, but interviews and offers are being extended in anticipation of the award. Remote work is authorized, but must support US Eastern time zone working hours. ICF monitors employee work locations and blocks access from foreign locations/foreign IP addresses and prohibits personal VPN connections.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing, configuring, testing, and deploying Salesforce solutions in an Agile delivery environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, business, or a related field.
• An active Salesforce certification. Platform Developer I is preferred; Administrator, Platform App Builder, or Platform Developer II certifications are also valued.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust.
• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States. All work must be performed within the United States.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Salesforce Agentforce Public Sector, Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, Government Cloud, or comparable Salesforce industry solutions.
• 1+ years of experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, SQL, unit testing, debugging, and Salesforce development best practices.
• 1+ years of experience developing or supporting integrations using REST or SOAP APIs, middleware, ETL tools, or comparable integration approaches.
• Experience with declarative configuration, including Salesforce Flow, custom objects and fields, validation rules, page layouts, permission sets, reports, dashboards, and automation.
• Experience using source control, Salesforce DX, and CI/CD processes to support deployments and release management.
• Experience implementing or modernizing a federal grants management system or other complex case management platform.
• Experience with OmniStudio, including FlexCards, OmniScripts, Data Mappers, Integration Procedures, or related components.
• Advanced experience integrating Salesforce with external systems through APIs, middleware, event-driven services, or data synchronization.
• Experience supporting federal government clients or large-scale government technology programs.
• Familiarity with federal security, privacy, accessibility, records management, and ATO processes.
• Experience supporting DevSecOps activities, including package creation, CI/CD pipelines, code scans and remediation, regression testing, deployments, and release management.
• Experience supporting complex data migrations, including source-to-target mapping, data-quality analysis, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and lineage.
• Additional Salesforce certifications or Trailhead achievements related to development, integration, OmniStudio, Agentforce Public Sector, Experience Cloud, or administration.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, develop, test, and deploy grants management capabilities using Salesforce Agentforce Public Sector.
• Apply a configuration-first approach using Salesforce Flow, OmniStudio, and reusable platform features before developing custom Apex or Lightning Web Components.
• Translate user stories, acceptance criteria, business rules, and technical designs into secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions.
• Develop and support integrations between Salesforce, governmentwide services, financial systems, analytics platforms, and legacy applications.
• Create unit tests, participate in peer reviews, and resolve defects identified during functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Support data migration activities, including data mapping, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and error resolution.
• Participate in CI/CD, environment management, release planning, deployment, and post-release support.
• Document configurations and technical decisions while meeting federal security, privacy, accessibility, and operational-readiness requirements.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and work across architects, business analysts, administrators, testers, and stakeholders throughout delivery.
