About The Position

Magic Memories is hiring a Lead Retail Sales Photographer at the Grand Canyon Railway in Williams, Arizona. The role is part of a retail team that captures guests’ interactive moments and turns them into print and digital storytelling products. The position combines photography, guest service, retail sales, and team leadership. No photography experience is needed; training is provided on the company’s systems. This seasonal, temporary role ends January 3, 2027, and is classified as non-exempt. The employer describes a fun, fast-paced atmosphere and opportunities for growth and advancement.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
One year of people-management experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with customers, management, and cross-functional team members.
Professional communication skills and appearance.
Enjoy interacting with guests from around the world and achieving sales goals in a retail environment.
Must be at least 16 years old.
Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Retail experience is a plus.
Previous guest-service experience in hospitality, food and beverage, or retail is preferred but not required.
Experience in digital photography is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Greet guests and provide world-class service while creating memorable experiences.
Act as lead manager when the Assistant Retail Photography Manager is absent.
Supervise the sales floor and perform administrative duties to help the team stay focused on guest service and sales goals.
Take photos and provide guests with souvenirs to take home and share.
Work with the team to achieve sales goals.
Provide excellent customer service.
