About The Position

Tolko's Lead, Sales and Product Development - Industrial plays a key role in selling and marketing Tolko’s industrial products, and translating market insight into coordinated commercial and operational action across Tolko. This role is responsible for driving demand and market pull-through for Tolko-branded products, influencing key supply-chain decision makers to secure new accounts and growth, and building and optimizing high-performing third-party remanufacturing partnerships. The position acts as a trusted, solutions-focused liaison between customers, partners, and internal teams, supports the development and rollout of sales and marketing materials, and conducts industrial market research. The role also involves tracking competitor performance, communicating market opportunities, overseeing third-party remanufacturing partners, and ensuring disciplined follow-up and issue resolution. Extensive travel is required to support customer engagement, partner oversight, and market development.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of demonstrated success in wood product sales.
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field.
  • Proven customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated computer-based analytical and financial skills.
  • Self-starter with a high degree of initiative, resourcefulness and creativity.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability.
  • Resourceful team player with ability to be independently effective.

  • Travel extensively to support customer engagement, partner oversight, and market development.
