About The Position

CLEAN USA is a growing restoration company focused on helping homeowners and businesses recover from water damage, mold, fire damage, and other property emergencies. We're looking for an experienced Lead Restoration Technician who leads by example, takes ownership of projects, and is committed to delivering exceptional results. This role involves overseeing restoration projects from start to finish, ensuring quality workmanship, safety, and outstanding customer service. The Lead Restoration Technician will also train and mentor other technicians.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2–5 years of restoration experience preferred.
  • Previous leadership or crew lead experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with water mitigation, mold remediation, fire restoration, and structural drying.
  • Knowledge of DASH restoration management software preferred.
  • Strong understanding of drying principles, moisture mapping, and restoration equipment.
  • Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and restoration equipment.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials, work on your feet for extended periods, and perform physically demanding work.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, and emergency service hours when needed.

Nice To Haves

  • IICRC Water Restoration Technician (WRT) and Applied Structural Drying (ASD) certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead crews on water, mold, fire, and specialty cleaning restoration projects.
  • Coordinate daily job activities to ensure projects stay on schedule and meet company standards.
  • Perform water extraction, demolition, structural drying, cleaning, and restoration services.
  • Set up, monitor, and adjust drying equipment, including air movers, dehumidifiers, and air filtration devices.
  • Perform daily moisture inspections and document drying progress.
  • Train, mentor, and support Restoration Technicians in proper procedures and best practices.
  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, and industry standards.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites.
  • Communicate professionally with customers throughout the restoration process.
  • Complete job documentation, photos, moisture readings, equipment logs, and required paperwork accurately and on time.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards and customer satisfaction are achieved.
  • Participate in emergency after-hours and on-call response rotations as needed.
  • Assist with other restoration services and company initiatives as assigned.
