Physicians Surgical Hospitals includes two surgical centers - Panhandle Surgical Hospital and Quail Creek Surgical Hospital- one physical therapy center - Quail Creek Physical Therapy - and a state-of-the-art diagnostic imaging center, the Advanced Imaging Center of Amarillo.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in patient registration, scheduling, or healthcare front office.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of HIPAA.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in a lead or senior registration role.
College or coursework in healthcare administration or business.
Experience in a busy clinical setting.
Bilingual proficiency may be an advantage.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and database management.

Responsibilities

Overseeing daily registration activities in the clinic to ensure patients are welcomed, accurately registered, and provided with excellent customer service.
Supports front desk operations, verifies insurance and demographic information, assists with scheduling, and serves as a first point of escalation for registration staff.
Provides guidance, training, and support to the registration team while maintaining productivity and compliance standards.
