About The Position

This role is responsible for checking vendor partners in and out, maintaining back room standards, and enforcing receiving and back door security policies. The Lead Receiver ensures all loss prevention policies and procedures are in effect at all times and is responsible for maintaining all safety programs to ensure a safe work environment. This position requires regular, timely attendance and the ability to provide adequate notice for occasional absences.

Requirements

  • Must be mature, meticulous, self-driven, able to work well independently and comfortable using computers.
  • Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with vendors and all personnel.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of all safety requirements and company safety policies.
  • Must possess the ability to apply on-the-job safety training to recognize and react to possible safety hazards on store premises.
  • Requires proper training and knowledge of the following equipment/procedures: hand jack, bailer, forklift, cutter, proper lifting techniques, proper scanning technique, hand truck, trash compactor.

  • Enforce and implement our receiving and back door security policies.
  • Ensure that all loss prevention policies and procedures are in effect at all times.
  • Responsible for maintaining all safety programs to ensure a safe work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences.
